As a boutique agency, we’re equipped with the hands-on support and international network needed to guide Americans and academic partners on their journeys to Italy. Our agency was founded by Yvette Magistro to give clients confidence and peace of mind — only connecting them with trusted professionals who share our standards of honesty, quality, and care. More than logistics, we embrace a lifestyle-driven approach helping clients enjoy education, history, heritage, and family, while living the Italian way: working hard and savoring life’s simple joys.

Our Philosophy
Moving to Italy is more than logistics. It’s a life decision — academically, personally, and professionally. Viaita is built on a clear standard: protect our client’s journey with structure, transparency, and aligned incentives.
We believe in:
TRUST & EXPERTISE:
With our in-house legal counsel and Italian connections, Viaita offers a deep knowledge of Italian law, culture, and bureaucracy. Our clients can trust us to help them avoid the pitfalls of complexity, confusion, and overwhelm.
PERSONALIZED SERVICE:
We tailor our guidance for every client’s goals. Because we work with a limited number of clients, you can ensure we’ll be available to offer support when you need it.
ACHIEVING THE ITALIAN DREAM:
We ensure our clients don’t just arrive in Italy, but arrive prepared to build the life they’ve imagined.
OUR FOUNDER
Yvette Magistro
Yvette Magistro started Viaita with one goal: to share her love of Italy and make the journey easier for Americans who dream of experiencing life here. With 20 years of experience in sales, partnerships, and community development — and family roots in Italy — Yvette brings both professional expertise and a lifelong passion for Italian culture, history, and heritage, rooted in her studies of the Classics and Archaeology.
Yvette has seen how easy it is to make costly mistakes when navigating another country — even when people believe they are getting the right professional help. Her father is from Sant’Angelo di Brolo, Sicily, and Italy has always been a part of her life — not just a destination. The turning point came through experience — watching how often individuals and families were overcharged, misled, or left unsupported simply because they didn’t know what questions to ask, who to trust, or what should come next.
Viaita exists to change that.
Throughout her career, Yvette has been recognized for building lasting relationships, working tirelessly to understand people’s goals, nurture trust, and help them succeed. That same dedication is at the heart of Viaita: every client relationship is personal to us, and we are committed to making their Italian dream a reality. That means listening carefully, being honest about what’s realistic, and ensuring that decisions — especially high-stakes ones like housing, schooling, and long term relocation — are made with clear information and aligned incentives.
“My role is not to rush outcomes. It’s to protect the process — and the people navigating it. On a personal level, I’m also a mother. And for families trusting us with their children, their futures, or their next chapter in Italy, that responsibility is never abstract — it’s deeply human.”

OUR IN-HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL
Studio Legale Internazionale
Our in-house legal counsel is an accomplished Italian attorney with more than twenty years of experience across immigration, civil, criminal, and administrative law. He supports clients navigating Italy’s legal landscape with clarity, precision, and dedication.
He advises clients on matters including visas, residency, citizenship pathways, property and contract review, inheritance-related matters, and cross-border compliance — from straightforward cases to more complex legal issues.
Beyond his legal expertise, our in-house counsel plays a key role in safeguarding Viaita’s clients, ensuring that every property, contract, and service provider meets our strict standards of transparency and reliability. His oversight gives clients peace of mind and protects them from common pitfalls or unreliable providers in the relocation process.
When additional legal support is required in Italy, Viaita coordinates access to a trusted network of licensed Italian attorneys through Studio Legale Internazionale, with scope tailored to the client’s specific situation and service level.
At Viaita, our in-house legal counsel's role is simple and unwavering: protect the client’s best interests — always.
